She will address a special plenary session at the Conference Center at 2:45 this afternoon. And later in the afternoon, Clinton is expected to travel to Huairou to participate in a workshop on women's empowerment. The WHO program will take place at the Beijing Commodity Exchange Commission. Clinton has been a strong supporter of US participation in the Conference. Although many, including the US Congressional leadership, advised her not to attend, Clinton stated that she believed the Conference was of great importance for addressing women's concerns.
