Subject: sexual harrassment

Hello -
        In my current Women's Studies class we are all required to join a
mailing list and I thought that I woul give this one a try.
        We are currently discussing situations of sexual harrassment
which ones are valid and which ones aren't.  Here is my case:

        I am a senior female engineering major.  My sophomore year I was
having some trouble with homework problems for a certain class so I went
to ask the professor some questions during his office hours.  When I
entered his office I noticed a picture above his desk was of a naked
women with a snake wrapped around her strategically covering all the
necessary parts.  I don't necessarily feel that this was sexual
harrassment but it did make me extremely uncomfortable and I never
returned to visit him during his office hours.  I'd love to hear what some
of you have to say.  The whole situation shocked my Women's Studies
professor and she want to find out which professor it is.  I talked to
alot of the guys in that class and they seemed to think the whole
situation was pretty funny.  Do you think I have a right to be worried about
this?
